Exports from BiH amounted to 1.4 Billion BAM in January

Exports from Bosnia and Herzegovina in January amounted to one billion and 401 million BAM, which is 5.9 percent more than in January of last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 844 million BAM and are higher by 7.6 percent compared to January. last year.

The coverage of imports by exports was 76 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 443 million BAM, the BiH Statistics Agency (BHAS) announced.

Exports to CEFTA countries in January amounted to 276 million BAM, which is 7.9 percent more than in January last year, while imports amounted to 195 million BAM, which is 6.7 percent more. The coverage of imports by exports with CEFTA countries amounted to 141.3 percent.

Exports to EU countries amounted to one billion and 24 million BAM, which is 4.2 percent more than in January last year, while imports amounted to one billion and 82 million BAM, which is 17.5 percent more than in January last year. Coverage of imports by exports with EU countries was 94.6 percent.
