In eight months (January-August) this year, Bosnia and Herzegovina exported goods worth 8.749 billion KM, which is 32.5 percent more than in the same period last year, while its imports amounted to 13.29 billion KM, which is 22.6 percent more.
The imports-exports ratio amounted to 65.8 percent, while the foreign trade deficit amounted to 4.451 billion KM, according to the Agency for Statistics of BiH.
Exports to CEFTA countries in eight months amounted to 1.402 billion KM, which is 33.2 percent more than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to 1.707 billion KM, which is 24.6 percent more than the same period last year. The imports-exports ratio with CEFTA countries was 82.1 percent.
Exports to EU countries in eight months amounted to KM 6.493 billion, which is 34.3 percent more than in the same period last year, while imports amounted to KM 7.938 billion, which is 21.1 percent more than in eight months last year. The imports-exports coverage with EU countries was 81.8 percent.
