In November, FACE TV launched their new show called Maximus olimpicus. It is a series dedicated to the 42 Bosnians and Herzegovinians, who won medals at the Olympics. More than 450 top athletes of the former Yugoslavia speak about them.
This series produced by FACE TV is the biggest gathering of the best athletes of all time in the former Yugoslavia, and the biggest series ever filmed.
This Friday at 20:30, editor and host Marjan Mijajlović will present to us the football player Vlado Čapljić, who was born on 22 March 1962 in Sarajevo. After he achieved his most valuable result wearing the jersey of Željezničar at the semi-finals in the UEFA Cup, he went to play for Partizan, and with this team they became champions of Yugoslavia two times. He played for Dinamo from Zagreb for four years, and then returned once again to Željezničar.
Vlado Čapljić is one of the few who can boast that he played for all teams of the former Yugoslavia, from pioneering to seniors. He won the bronze medal for the national team at the Olympics in Los Angeles (1984). He had his debut in 1984 in the A-Selection.
