The drama “In Zvornik I left my Heart” written by Abdulah Sidran will be played on January 9th in Koper, Slovenia.
The text written by one of the most famous Bosnian writers Abdulah Sidran belongs to the very top of domestic dramatic creativity.
It is a text that speaks of the very beginning of the war in Bosnia and Herzegovina, of the painful golgotha that the people of East Bosnia went through because of the difference in name and surname. The story is about hope and hopelessness.
The play of drama takes place in Zvornik, before the beginning of the war. Rudo, a music teacher, is an amateur conductor who dreams of writing a symphony on the River Drina one day, inspired by “Vltava”. When returning from one schoolchildren’s contest, Rudo sends his students back to Sarajevo, and he goes back to his native Zvornik.
Emir Hadžihafizbegović, Admir Glamočak, Sabina Bambur, Amar Selimović, Feđa Štukan, Sabit Sejdinović, Dragan Jovičić, Ahmo Rožajac and Samir Muhović play in the drama, News Agency Patria reports.
