Farmers in FBiH produced in March Goods worth more than 10 Million BAM!

increase in productionFarmers from Bosnia and Herzegovina continue to record an increase in the production of agricultural products.

The increased development of the agriculture in our country is mainly due to the expansion of small family farms where organic food has been grown, and which mainly ends on the shelves of European countries.

According to data of the Federal Institute for Statistics, the total worth of sales of agricultural products grown in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on the companies and agricultural cooperatives’ land amounted to 10.538.379 BAM in March, that is increase for 844.900 BAM or 8.72% compared to March 2014.

Also, increase has been recorded in the purchase of agricultural products. Thus, the total value of the purchase of agricultural products grown on family farms amounted to 10.154.075 BAM in March, that is increase for 741.577 BAM or 7.88% compared to March 2014.
