After completing the humanitarian mission in which he ran, rode a bike and swam from Sarajevo to Olympus in Greece, Faruk Suljovic collected a total of 22,500 BAM through the organization Pomozi.ba.

Faruk participated in this mission in which he covered 850 kilometers in 14 days for all cancer patients in memory of his father who died of this serious disease.

He previously told how it felt to climb to the top of Olympus.

“I got to the top, I cried because of the emotion that I managed to do all that. I thought in my head how far away Sarajevo is on the map, so that was enough to make me cry about how far I had traveled,” he recalled.

To recall, Faruk and his friends were welcomed back in Sarajevo, and he will later present a short documentary film about this experience, N1 writes.
