FB&H Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees with Libyan Officials

MINISTAR OSMANOVIÆ S LIBIJSKIM ZVANIÈNICIMAFB&H Minister of Displaced Persons and Refugees Adil Osmanović met with the Ambassador of Libya in B&H Arebi S. A. Halloudi and the Libyan Minister for victims and missing persons Alija A. Gadduro.

Minister Gadduro, after the abolition of the dictatorial regime in Libya, is in charge to form a qualified and efficient institution that primarily requires an adequate legal framework.

Gadduro said to Minister Osmanović that he is familiar with B&H’s history and the scope of the work of the FB&H Ministry of Displaced Persons and Refugees, and he is interested that in the functioning of his ministry to adjust the practice of the FB&H Ministry in solving the problems of displaced persons, refugees and returnees.

“More than 50 % of the population is displaced from their homes in B&H, while in their pre – war places around 1 million and 200 thousand people returned. We continue to work every day on the return of displaced, but also supporting sustainability of their return”, said Minister Osmanović.

Libyan officials expressed the interest that their associates visit B&H in order to get training for the work in this sector, announced the PR Office of FB&H Government.
