In 2014, Federation of B&H was visited by 575.566 tourists, which is for 0.3% less than in 2013. The participation of domestic tourist was 28.3, and of the foreign tourists was 71.7%, as stated in a Report of the Federal Institute for Statistics.
A total number of overnight stays in 2014 was 1.094.986 which is for 3.6% less than in 2013. The participation of domestic tourists in a total number of overnight stays was 26.7 and of the foreign ones 73.3%.
In the structure of the overnight stays of foreign tourists, the most overnight stays were realized by tourists from: Croatia (12.5%), Italy (9.7%), Turkey (9.3%), Slovenia (5.9%), Poland (5.4%), Germany (4.8%), Other Asian countries (4.4%) and Serbia (4.0), which amounts to 56.0% in total. Tourists from other countries realized 44% of overnight stays.
