FBiH Fund Continues Allocating Aid for Flood Affected Areas

after floodsDirector of the FBiH Fund for Flood Affected Areas in the territory of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina Jasmin Jagnjac signed today a contract regarding immediate rehabilitation of flood affected areas and sections of roads for Kolići village with Prime Minister of the Zenica-Doboj Canton (ZDK) Munib Husejnagić, Zenica Mayor Husejin Smajlović and CEO of “Komrad-Ze” Muhamed Šibonjić, the PR Office of the FBiH Government said in a statement.

This project must be completed within 45 days since the beginning of works and the Federation Fund allocated 166,000 BAM.

At the same time today, based on the decision of the Steering Committee of the FBiH Fund for Flood Affected Areas, the Fund allocated another 1,000,000 KM of which 700,000 BAM is intended for the recovering of road infrastructure for Željezno Polje in the Žepče Municipality and an additional 300,000 KM for the reconstruction of the road Nemila – Bistričak in the Zenica Municipality.

Also, the Gračanica Municipality was allocated 40,000 BAM for a joint construction of a bridge.

During his visit to Zenica, Director Jagnjac met with the prime minister of the Tuzla and Posavina cantons, Bahrija Umihanić and Marijan Orošlić, respectively and with the Mayor of Tuzla Jasmin Imamović and the UNDP project manager Edis Arifagić.

The Steering Committee of the FBiH Fund accepted the report of Director Jasmin Jaganjac about the implementation of previous decisions concerning the establishment of criteria and allocation of funds for the reconstruction of flood affected areas.
