house of representaivesYesterday, the FBiH PA House of Representatives adopted the proposed amendments to the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2014 at the special extraordinary session.

The reason for the budget revision is the fact that the BiH has been approved additional funding from the IMF, which the government of the Federation of BiH cannot dispose of without the budget revision.

“BiH has received funding from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the seventh and eighth tranche under the fourth stand-by arrangement in the amount of 124 million KM, and through additional financing based on the model of rapid financing in the amount of 92, 09 million KM,” said Finance Minister Ante Krajina.

The proposed amendments to the budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2014 have to be adopted in the House of Peoples of the FBiH Parliament.

Along with the decision on 2014 budget revision, deputies today adopted the Draft Law on Amendments to the Law on Execution of the Budget of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina for 2014.
