The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) will subsidize the purchase of electric and hybrid vehicles this year as well. They announced how much money those who qualify for the subsidy will receive.

Namely, the first program deals with subsidies to private companies and entrepreneurs – incentives for the purchase of electric vehicles in the amount of 500,000 BAM.

The beneficiary of the subsidy under this program can be, as announced by the Government of FBiH, a private company and an entrepreneur, craftsman or other self-employed person based in FBiH who submits an application, submits documentation and fulfills the conditions in accordance with the public invitation, and at the time of application there are available budget funds intended to subsidize the purchase of vehicles, i.e. that they are not already allocated to other users at the time of application.

The second program adopted yesterday refers to natural persons, an incentive for the purchase of electric vehicles in the total amount of 500,000 BAM. The beneficiary of this subsidy can be a natural person, a citizen of BiH with a residence in FBiH and over 18 years of age who submits an application, submits documentation and fulfills the conditions in accordance with the public invitation and that at the time of application there are available budget funds intended to subsidize the purchase of a vehicle.

As they emphasized, by co-financing the purchase of electric and hybrid cars, the FBiH Government has a direct impact on improving air quality, as well as reducing sources of air pollution, i.e. reducing greenhouse gas emissions.

This is not the first time that the government in FBiH subsidizes the purchase of electric and hybrid vehicles. The government subsidized for the first time last year in the same amount as this year, a total amount of one million BAM, Klix.ba reports.
