Austrian Companies interested in Investments in Trebinje

Investors in Trebinje novosti.rsThe prestigious Austrian companies are interested in investing in the city of Trebinje, as well as for a public-private partnership. Namely, companies especially consider in investing in infrastructure projects such as the ring roads, was stated at the meeting of representatives of these companies and the city administration.

Representatives of 11 Austrian companies dealing with insurance, production and energy were informed about the potentials of Trebinje and about the possibilities and the way of investing in this city. Representatives pointed out that this was only the first step in the negotiations that followed.

Mayor of Trebinje Luka Petrović stated that he was especially pleased that the meeting was held at the initiative of the guests, noting that during the talks they presented a vision of the development of the town for which the Austrians were very much interested.

“In the upcoming period, investors will consider the possibility of engagement both in terms of investments and in terms of certain works,” said Petrovic.

Goran Pavić, director of Strabag company, one of Austria’s leading infrastructure developers in Europe, said that companies are interested in this infrastructure works, emphasizing a large ring road in Trebinje, which will soon be built.

The Trade Advisor at the Embassy of Austria in BiH, Philipe Kupfer, stated that all 11 companies found an interesting area for investments in Trebinje, pointing out the specificity of this city and its geographic position.
