Russian Gazprom Export increased Energoinvest’s purchase price of natural gas by 14.42 percent for the third quarter of this year, Federal Minister of Energy, Mining and Industry Vedran Lakić announced.
The new purchase price will be 0.99019 KM per standard cubic meter of gas.
Lakić stated that the price is determined by the seller, and that Energoinvest cannot influence it.
According to him, such a relationship, in which one supplier determines the price without the possibility of influencing the customer, additionally confirms the need to provide an alternative direction and additional sources of gas supply.
“It is not only an energy issue, but also a question of our security,” said Lakić in a post on the social network Facebook.
