fotkaAs much as BiH had problems, I still hear a lot of nice stories about people who have succeeded, and went through great challenges.  As they wrote in America about me and my success, I think everyone in BiH deserves something like that, says Feđa.

Feđa Kadribašić (21) born in Doboj who graduated from the American Astrophysicist Stanford University, and four years ago won the “Presidential Scholar in 2009” award. He was selected among the 141 best high school seniors in the United States between three million candidates, and awarded by President Barack Obama.

In May 1992, as a eight-month baby, Kadribašić with his family left his origin city Doboj.

Until 1998 his family and he, lived in Germany, and then life continued in Boca Raton, Florida.

Thanks to his success in the USA, he received a full scholarship at the Stanford University, where he most recently, of course successfully completed the training in the field of physics.

He is especially interested in astronomy and astrophysics.

“I’ve always been interested in space and celestial bodies. I think that we are not alone in the universe. Our universe is so big, it’s not a question whether there is life, but only that our planet is closest to, and that it has a life”,  says Kadribašić.

These days, along with his girlfriend Lejla ( from Sarajevo), he is visiting  BiH. He also visited Maglaj, where his grandparents once lived.
“ I especially like two things in BiH – Geology in terms of research, and the Hope that you have noticed among many people”, said Kadribašić, which expects doctoral program at Texas A & M University near Houston.

Kadribašić says that through his education, he is very engaged in research work together with prof. Blas Cabrera.

“ The results of my scientific studies have been published in several US magazines”, adds Feđa.
