Federal Government suspended all Procedures for Admission of Workers in Coal Mines

The Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, at urgent telephone session, has decided that coal mines operating within the Concern of the Electric Power Company of Bosnia and Herzegovina, namely the merged companies Mine “Kreka” doo Tuzla, brown coal mine “Đurđevik” doo Đurđevik, Brown Coal Mine “Kakanj” Ph.D. Kakanj, Brown Coal Mine “Breza” Ph.D. Birch, Zenica Brown Coal Mine Zenica, Abid Lolić Brown Coal Mine Travnik-Bila, Coal Mine “Gracanica” Ltd. Gornji Vakuf-Uskoplje to immediately suspend all competitive procedures for admission of workers.

The obligation to suspend these competitive procedures also applies to all initiated admission procedures, regardless of whether they are employed on a temporary or permanent basis.

Members of the boards of directors and supervisory boards of these companies are in charge of aligning the business policies of the companies with the development policies of the Federal Government.

Exceptionally, the Federal Government may approve the tendering procedure and employment, at the request of these companies, with the previously obtained opinion of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry and submitted the plan for the reorganization of mines.
