Federal Minister of the Interior Ramo Isak reacted today to, as he states, “the claims of the defense of the accused Milorad Dodik that the Federal Minister of the Interior, the Minister of Defense of BiH, the US Embassy in BiH and the Embassy of Great Britain in BiH put pressure on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina in the criminal case that is being conducted against the accused citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Milorad Dodik”.
“Pressure on the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina is exerted only by the servants of Milorad Dodik’s regime who applaud him in the courtroom and attack the Court of Bosnia and Herzegovina. These are the same people who thought of starting to talk, watch out now, that Dodik is being tried because he is a Serb,” says Isak.
In this context, he referred to the reasons for which Dodik was prosecuted.
“The birds on the branches, and even the pigeons in Banja Luka, know that Dodik is on trial because there is a well-founded suspicion that he committed a criminal offense prescribed by the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina. Milorad, if you declared yourself as an Eskimo, and if you had the citizenship of Bosnia and Herzegovina and if you had committed what you have already committed, you would be accused. So should I teach you that the Criminal Code of Bosnia and Herzegovina does not recognize belonging to the Serbian people as an aggravating circumstance?,” it is stated in the reaction.
Isak briefly commented on the media appearances of the Minister of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
“The only thing more ridiculous than that narrative are the threats of BiH Security Minister Nenad Nešić that, if Dodik’s verdict is convicting, the survival of Bosnia and Herzegovina will be called into question. The real truth is that, if the verdict is convicting, only the corrupt system established by Milorad Dodik will be called into question,” says Isak.
Isak, at the same time, calls on Nešić to focus on issues from the Ministry of Security of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
