Federal Police Administration as the first Challenge of the new Government

Ensad Korman’s extended term of office in the position of acting director of the Federal Police Administration expires. So this police agency will have neither a director nor an acting director if a solution is not found quickly.

As it was found out, Vahidin Munjic should be appointed asacting director until the appointment of a new director. It will only be a temporary solution because Nermin Niksic‘s government must finally resolve the appointment of the leadership of the federal police.

Given that the Federal Police Administration still did not get a new director, Korman informed the authorities a few days ago that they do not plan to extend his already extended mandate, because for health reasons he can no longer hold that position.

Ensad Korman and Svevlad Hoffmann were candidates for the new director of the Federal Police Administration, they passed the competition procedure, but the Government of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH) did not appoint any of them for reasons known only to them.

In the meantime, Korman ran for deputy director of the Border Police of BiH.

Given that the new Minister of Internal Affairs is Ramo Isak (Bosniak), the position of Federal Police Administration will be filled by a Croat police officer.

What is unclear now is actually whether that competition has been canceled or is still valid.

If the conducted competition is respected, the new director will be Svevlad Hoffmann, the current advisor to the director of Border Police of BiH, who comes from the rank of Croats.

If the competition has been canceled or will be canceled, then the formation of the Independent Board will follow, and then the announcement of a new competition. After the competition, the new police minister will propose to the government a name for the new director of the Federal Police Administration, Klix.ba reports.
