On September 30 of this year, 273,700 people were registered in the records of employment services in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is a decrease of 3,231 compared to the previous month. The share of the female population in the number of unemployed is 163,124, or 59.6 percent.
Of the total number of unemployed, 186,754 (68.23 percent) are skilled, 86,946 (31.77 percent) are unskilled, and 83,419 (30.48 percent) are seeking employment for the first time.
60,401 persons between the ages of 15 and 29 were registered on the unemployment register.
In the same month, 11,116 beneficiaries of financial benefits were recorded, which is a decrease of 671 compared to the data from the previous month.
In the month in question, 192,676 persons obtained the right to health insurance through the cantonal employment services, which is 2,280 less than in the previous month. 518 persons used the right to pension and disability insurance.
On August 31 of this year, 538,302 employed persons were registered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. The number of employees compared to last year’s average is higher by 2,637, and compared to the previous month it is lower by 2,776, the Federal Employment Agency announced.
