Real GDP Growth in the third Quarter was 2.9 percent

Real Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH) in the third quarter of 2017, compared to the same quarter of 2016, was 2.9 percent.

The seasonally adjusted data series shows GDP growth in the third quarter of last year from 1.4 percent compared to the previous quarter, according to the data of BiH Agency for Statistics.

Looking at the areas of activity classification in the third quarter of 2017, the significant real growth of gross value added was recorded in the activities: wholesale and retail 9.9 percent, and art, entertainment and recreation 9.2 percent.

Real gross value added decrease was recorded in these activities: professional, scientific and technical activities 4.4 percent, and agriculture, forestry and fishing 3.8 percent.
