Federation of BiH records Decrease in Number of Unemployed

A total of 284,842 people were registered in the records of employment services at the end of November 2022, which is a decrease of 1,201 compared to the previous month.

The share of the female population in the number of unemployed is 168,423, or 59.13 percent.

Of the total number of unemployed, 195,610 (68.67 percent) are skilled, 89,232 (31.33 percent) are unskilled, and 88,004 (30.9 percent) of them are seeking employment for the first time, according to data from the FBiH Employment Agency.

62,457 persons between the ages of 15 and 29 were registered on the unemployment register.

There were 539,479 registered employed persons in the Federation of BiH on October 31, 2022. The number of employed compared to last year’s average is higher by 14,082.
