The Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina entity will again borrow 50 million BAM on September 22. Namely, a public invitation has been announced for participation in debentures of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina through an auction on the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, Biznis Info reports.

The planned amount of the issue is 50 million BAM. These are 50,000 debentures with a nominal value of 1,000 BAM. The auction date is September 22, 2020 and debentures will last for seven years.

Both entities have recently been heavily borrowing from commercial banks in order to patch holes in their budgets. Issues of treasury bills and bonds are actually a form of indebtedness with commercial banks.
