Festival of Japanese Culture Tomorrow in Doboj

flag-of-japan-2011_mediumThe Festival ‘’Matrusi’’ organized by the Municipality of Doboj and the Embassy of Japan in BiH and the NGOs Bild will be held tomorrow in Doboj, and will be based on the introduction of Japanese culture.

As part of the festival there will be speaking about the contributions of the Government of Japan in the reconstruction of municipality Doboj.

Representatives of the Embassy of Japan will present video films about festivals in Japan through the seasons and cultural heritage of Japan.

It will be presented ‘Shodo’ Japanese calligraphy, the art of ‘Origami’ paper folding and ‘Yukata’ kimono to be worn during summer with wooden Sandals Geta

It will be presented Uchiwa, the traditional Japanese hand fan, with a round shape, made ​​of paper, in the framework of bamboo, examples of traditional Japanese food sushi, sashimi and Hashi traditional sticks for eating.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about scholarship programs that are offered annually by the government of Japan to citizens of BiH, was announced by the Embassy of Japan in BiH.
