Fight in Sarajevo Leaves One Dead, Two Injured

Police officers of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Canton of Sarajevo have deprived Ć.O. (1984) from Sarajevo of his liberty due to the existence of grounds for suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of Murder, in such a way that today at around 13:00, after a fight in which several people participated, he inflicted injuries on B.M. (1981) with a sharp object, as a result of which the 44-year-old died at the KCUS at 14:20.

The arrested 41-year-old is also suspected of causing serious bodily injuries to the deceased’s wife, E.P. (1983) and her sister A.P. (1988), both from Sarajevo.

The on-site investigation was led by the prosecutor on duty of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of the Canton of Sarajevo, and was carried out by members of the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Canton of Sarajevo.

Also, due to the basic suspicion that she committed the criminal offense of Aiding, S.O. (1983) from Živinice was also deprived of her liberty.

The suspect will be handed over to the KTKS for further processing after criminal processing in the KS MUP Police Directorate.
