Tomorrow, 6 March, citizens of Sarajevo will have the opportunity to see yet another film of the French New Wave (La Nouvelle Vague) which will be shown in Meeting Point cinema at 8 p.m.
The Young Girls of Rochefort (Les Demoiselles de Rochefort)is a 1967 French musical film written and directed by Jacques Demy, starring Catherine Deneuve, her sister Françoise Dorléac, Jacques Perrin, Michel Piccoli, Danielle Darrieux, George Chakiris, Grover Dale and Gene Kelly. The choreography was by Norman Maen.
The film talks about Delphine and Solange who are two sisters living in Rochefort. Delphine is a dancing teacher and Solange composes and teaches the piano. Maxence is a poet and a painter. He is doing his military service. Simon owns a music shop; he left Paris once month ago to come back where he fell in love 10 years ago.
