nick caveThe Sarajevo Film Festival and Laško Beer (exclusive sponsor of the 20th Sarajevo Film Festival) announce new, rich and unique content. For the fourth year in a row, visitors to the Sarajevo Film Festival can enjoy film screenings outside as part of the Laško Summer Nights programme.

The programme opens with the screening of 20 000 DAYS ON EARTH, directed by the duo of Iain Forsyth and Jane Pollard.

The film follows the 20000th day in the life of Nick Cave, whose distinctive baritone and darkly witty songwriting have created a musical style that can only be defined as “Nick Cave”.

In their carefully composed cinematic debut, artist duo Jane Pollard and Iain Forsyth combine fiction and reality, private and public and, in one fictional day, capture the life story of this renowned musician.
