The basketball team of Bosnia and Herzegovina has achieved another victory in qualifying for the European Championship.
In the second match, the chosen players by Duško Ivanović won the selection of Iceland with the result of 72:62 (22:10, 12:17, 22: 6, 16:29).
With this triumph, BH basketball players played their first part of qualifications with maximum effect and came one step closer to the European Championship.
Selection of BiH has played better during most of the time, but in the end the victory arrived harder than expected.
Mirza Teletović led the BH representation team with “double-double” performance of 29 points. Šutalo scored eleven points and Stipanović eight.
The most effective in the Iceland representation were Gunnarsson with 18 and Vilhjálmsson with 14 points.
The next match will be played on 24th August against a selection of Great Britain.
