The Serbian omnibus “Equals” was shown today at the press projection at the National Theatre as part of the Competition program of the 20th SFF, out of competition.

After the projection, a part of the film crew greeted the audience and Igor Stoimenov said that the whole team along with the children actors and professional actors did the film with no financing what so ever. He pointed out that the film was based on a competition for the film treating children’s rights topic.
This omnibus consists out of several very emotional stories all treating children’s rights and problems the children are facing in the society as well as the lack of understanding by the society for the problems of living conditions they are facing.
Each story has a specific severity and tells a story about a society with no sensibility for helping them or understanding them.
Some of those stories talk about institutions for children with no parents and show a peace of their lives full of sexual, physic or other violence in the family while some of them talk of teenage love forbidden by the parents.
