The Association ‘Metanoia’ will prepare a program called ‘Film Nights’, where documentary films on the issue of mental health will be shown.
Documentary films that are less well known to the public will be shown, and which deal with issues of mental health, alternative approaches to working with people who have psychosocial difficulties and self-help groups of people with psychiatric diagnoses.
Before each screening of the film, an interactive lecture will be held, where visitors will become familiar with the theoretical and empirical aspects of mental health issues from the perspective of professionals, as well as creative ways to combat stigma from the perspective of art.
The film ‘Open Dialogue’ will be shown on 26 November in Kino Bosna in Sarajevo, after which there will be a lecture by psychologist Vladan Beara.
The entrance is free, and the project is under the auspices of municipality Centar.
