The Minister of Finance of the Republika Srpska Zora Vidović stated today that the RS is financially stable and that the lowest salary of 900 BAM is realistic based on all analyses.

Vidović emphasized that, after the increase of the lowest salary in the RS, the increase in prices is not justified, and that she will fight against abuses.

“The minimum amount has yet to be paid, then we will see the effects and analyze everything. As for the increase in prices, the Ministry of Trade and Tourism has already started control,” Vidović told RTRS.

She reminded that certain economic branches may have problems, but that the Government of Srpska will help.

“We are fighting so that the workers do not go abroad, but stay in the Republika Srpska,” said Vidović.

She reminded that Republika Srpska continues with investments important for development.

“The possibilities of cooperation with the Saudi Fund will be presented today in the Government of Srpska. The participants of the presentation will see that the conditions are very favorable, two of our projects have already been accepted and that is why we should take advantage of this opportunity,” said Vidović.

She said that pensions have been increased in the RS this year and that budget obligations will be fulfilled regularly, Srna news agency writes.
