102,796 Company Accounts are blocked in Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina (CBBH) has published an updated list of blocked accounts of companies in BiH. In the new report on blocked accounts in the Unified Register of Accounts of the CBBH, it was stated that in BiH at the beginning of August 102,796 company accounts were blocked and that 56,142 companies have at least one blocked account.

The total number of blocked company accounts compared to the previous month increased by 52, and the number of companies with at least one blocked account decreased by eight.

The new report, which contains 4,138 pages (like the previous report), lists companies from all spheres of social life, from commercial enterprises, shops, hair salons, gas stations, pharmacies, surgeries, cafes and restaurants, to various agencies, cooperatives, companies. This list also includes mines, local communities, municipalities, and sports associations.

In the first report of the Central Bank of BiH, published at the beginning of November 2012, the number of blocked accounts of companies in BiH was 58,038, while 35,694 companies had at least one blocked bank account.
