jahorina 1Mount Jahorina is 28 kilometers from the center of Sarajevo and the highest peak of this snowy beauty, Ogorjelica, reaches a height of 1,916 meters above sea level. During the winter season you can enjoy skiing, sledding, snowboarding…. You’ll find more than 20 kilometers of ski lanes for alpine skiing at the Jahorina Olympic Center, complete with five cable cars (two modern six-seaters and three two-seaters), three ski lifts and two baby lifts, all of which allow for a total lift capacity of around 12,000 skiers per hour.

Starting in 2015, there will be night skiing on the Poljice lanes, every Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. During these times, the Poljice ski lift will also be available for use.
