Natura Food (ekapija)At the beginning of 2014, Natura Food d.o.o Balatun from Bijeljina was founded. The company is engaged in fruit and vegetable processing under the brand name Natura.

Natura factory which is located in Balatun near Bjeljina, is mostly engaged in the production of pickles, which amounts to approximately 60% of total production. All the required raw produce is provided from its own domestic production. In addition to pickles, Natura produces different kind of chili peppers, sour salads, mixed salads, sweet marmalades and jams. Around one million euros was invested in the construction of the factory and the manufacturing plant. The new factory with its modern plant is made in accordance with EU regulations. It covers an area of 1600 m2 and offers a full line for the processing of the mentioned  products.

It is a part of the Adriatic Group which is also co-owner of 70% of the company. Besides Natura Food, the  Adriatic Group is composed of firms Brajlovic GmbH Vienna, Brahms d.o.o. Sarajevo, Natura GmbH Stuttgart, Adriatic UK Ltd. London, Agron d.o.o Živinice, and marketing and PR agency Pricha Sarajevo.

During the season the company employs around 120 workers, and on average sells around 200 tons of goods. In the past season, which was extremely difficult due to flooding, it processed around 1000 tons of raw produce.

A year after the establishment, we talked with the director of Natura Food d.o.o. Senahid Huremović about the results and plans for the future.

“We are a young firm which has achieved incredible results in short period. We reached the plan for as much as 40%. We were able to form a team that is constantly working on quality improvement and on the new range. We made our market in BiH and the EU. For all these reasons, we can claim that we will soon become one of the leading brands in the food industry”, adds Huremovic.

He says that Natura Food has approximately 40 products in the range and that all products emphasize quality and price. However, the most wanted highest quality and best-selling product is Delikates cucumber pickles.
