FIPA Agency to bring Forty Potential Investors from China

chinaDirector of Foreign Investment Promotion Agency of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FIPA) Gordan Milinic at the meeting held with representatives of the city of Ningbo from China arranged a visit of 40 Chinese companies in October this year.

Director Ning Yuan Pan Yingming and FIPA Director Gordan Milinic concluded that there is a potential for improving cooperation between BiH and Ningbo in the metal, food and wood processing, energy and IT sectors and that It is necessary to intensify the contacts, which will be realized by the arrival of 40 Chinese companies in BiH.

Ningbo, a city with over seven million inhabitants, has 160,000 private companies, of which 21 on the list of 500 leading private companies in China, as well as more than 360,000 small family firms. In 2013, the city of Ningbo was chosen for one of the most attractive investment destinations in China, and as one of the most active cities in expanding businesses abroad.

For the official visit, FIPA will prepare presentations for attractive investment projects, will meet with relevant ministries at all levels of authority and will visit the potential investment locations during the visit by Ningbo businessman.

“The visit of the Chinese economic delegation of the city of Ningbo will be the first sectoral and project systemically organized visit of one economic delegation from China,” is stated from FIPA.
