The delivery of a new modern fire truck, which the City of Srebrenik procured for the needs of the Professional Fire Brigade, was marked in a convenient way in Srebrenik yesterday.

It is a vehicle of domestic production made according to the highest standards used in the most developed EU countries, and its value is 410,000 BAM. This is the first purchase of a completely new truck since the existence of the fire brigade in Srebrenik, and its keys were handed over to the commander of the fire brigade by the mayor of Srebrenik, Nihad Omerovic.

As it was pointed out, the new vehicle will greatly facilitate the work of firefighters and raise the level of quality of the interventions themselves, and will generally make Srebrenik a place of safer living.

Until recently, the company “Su-Ad” Živinice, which manufactures fire trucks to high standards, exclusively produced for export, and Srebrenik is one of the first local communities in BiH to recognize the importance and role of such a vehicle in rescuing people and property.

After the ceremonial handing over of the keys, a short demonstration exercise and presentation of the technical possibilities of the new fire truck to the citizens of Srebrenik as well as to guests throughout BiH was organized on the plateau next to the Fire Department, Biznis Info writes.
