The legendary skier Jure Franko will officially become the ambassador of SOS Children’s Villages in B&H on Saturday, 8 February. The ceremony of signing the Memorandum will be held at 11:00 at the premises of SOS Social Center Hermann Gmeiner.
Jure Franko will be appointed as SOS ambassador on the day when the 14th Winter Olympic Games in Sarajevo began. Also, this will be the first activity of this year of SOS Children’s Villages in B&H to celebrate the 20th year of its operation in B&H.
“SOS ambassador is such an honorary position, which is awarded to prominent and respected people, dedicated to the vision and mission of this organization, whose work and behavior is in accordance with the values of the organization. Considering the fact that Jure Franko has been for already 10 years a great and devoted friend of SOS Children’s Villages in B&H, it is a great honor for us to appoint him as the first SOS ambassador in B&H”, announces the SOS Children’s Village in B&H.
Jure Franko, Milan Todorović – a young man who grow up in SOS Children’s Villages in B&H , a SOS mother Amira Bašić and Director of National Association of SOS Children’s Village in B&H Amir Omanović will address the audience and a TV spot “SOS kum” will be transmitted.
