The tragedy that happened forever marked this day. A young life was lost. We express our sincere and deep condolences to the child’s family. We wish strength to the second child, who is fighting the most difficult battle of his life, and we place our hope in the expertise of the doctor, KJKP GRAS announced on Thursday evening.

“Our drivers went to work this morning, as they do every day, aware of the responsibility they bear.
Today they are broken. The whole collective is also broken. People who have been driving through this city for years, who have transported generations of Sarajevo citizens, are going home tonight with a burden that is difficult to describe in words, according to a statement regarding today’s accident that occurred after the tram derailed, killing one person and injuring several others.”

They point out that GRAS has been a part of Sarajevo for more than a century.

“With this city, we have gone through wars, winters without electricity, floods, shortages. Today we are going through the pain felt by our workers and our fellow citizens. This is a wound for the whole city. We are fully available and we cooperate with the competent authorities and families. Every fact must be established and every one will be available to the public,” the press release states.
