Innovation is the most important element in economy competitiveness and in tourism, said today at the conference “Jahorina business days of entrepreneurship and innovation in tourism”, which is being held on this Olympic mountain.
The organizers of this event are Economic Faculty of East Sarajevo, and the Center for innovation and entrepreneurship of Zenica University, with partners Ministries of Science and Technology, Economy, Education and Culture, Trade and Tourism of the RS government, as well as Zenica-Doboj Canton, cities of Sarajevo and East Sarajevo and Olympic center Jahorina.
Minister of Science and Culture of RS Jasmin Konić opened this conference and said that the priority of the Europe 2020 strategy is economic development based on innovation, stating that local, especially small and medium entrepreneurship in most of the cases are unable to develop their own innovative potential.
The President of the Organizational Board of this conference, Dean of the Economic Faculty in East Sarajevo doc.dr. Ljubiša Vladušić recalled that exactly 30 years ago and with no snow, all the Olympic venues around Sarajevo were ready for the 14th Winter Olympic Games, the biggest event in the world.
