Mayor of Trieste Announced Cooperation with Sarajevo and Project Ars Aevi

GRADONAÈELNIK SARAJEVA IVO KOMŠIÆ I GRADONAÈELNIK TRSTA ROBERTO COSOLINI POSJETILI KOLEKCIJU ARS AEVIThe Mayor of Trieste Roberto Cosolini, who is visiting the B&H capital at the invitation of the Ambassador of Italy to B&H HE Ruggero Corrias, received the Mayor of Sarajevo Ivo Komšić. The two mayors agreed that it is important to strengthen ties between Sarajevo and Trieste, because such cooperation that develops on an economic level, should enrich and strengthen the area of culture and art.

‘’Within its capabilities, the city of Trieste is ready to cooperate on the Project Ars Aevi, and in the second half of 2014 our lyric theatre will honor the citizens of Sarajevo with a concert’’, said the Mayor of Trieste.

After the reception in the City Administration, the two Mayors and the Italian Ambassador to B&H visited the Art Depo Center Skenderija, and accompanied by the host, Director of the Ars Aevi Project Enver Hadžiomerspahić, they visited the Ars Aevi Collection, which has been open since 6 February to the public.

‘’I was impressed by the Ars Aevi Collection from the moment that it was created and the way in which it developed. So I hereby announce participation of a private company in Trieste Illycaffè on the promotion of the Ars Aevi Collection’’, said Mayor Cosolini.

According to Italian Ambassador Corrias, ‘’the decision of Illycaffè to become the first private partner of Ars Aevi is good news for Sarajevo’’.
