Groups - Adults and Business PeopleAll B&H entrepreneurs who had small and medium businesses will be able to share their stories, advice and offer support to one another at the Business Café event. The first such meeting will be held on Wednesday, 18 December in Hotel Europe in Sarajevo.

The objectives of the Business Café is to motivate entrepreneurs, exchange information, knowledge sharing and to promote their own businesses. Also, the event was designed for entrepreneurs to learn something, and at every event some of the successful entrepreneurs will speak and share their stories of their work and success.

‘’Events of this kind are common in the region and in the world. In Croatia, Business Café has been ongoing for two years, and slowly a need is growing for such an event in B&H. Given that Global Market Solutions (GMS) has excellent business cooperation with Kristina Ercegovic, the initiator of this event in Croatia, we decided to deepen cooperation and start the same event in B&H’’, said Amra Hašimbegović to klix.ba, the Executive Director of GMS, which is the organizer of this event.

Business Café was designed as a place where participants could get to know one another, exchange their business experiences and show that it is possible to become a successful entrepreneur through joint action, strong will and optimism.

‘’We all know that drinking coffee usually takes place at the start of a job. Of course, professional business cooperation must not be neglected. Everywhere in the world, when informal meetings are agreed on, we have an informal phrase ‘We can meet for a short coffee’. Formal business meetings are often organized in the framework of a complicated protocol, so even if you show up at the same place, it does not mean that you will have a chance to meet who you wanted to. Business meetings ‘with coffee’ is a casual meeting that is different from formal ones, and each participant the opportunity to have access to other participants’’, said Hašimbegović.

Business Café will be held every two months and will be different from the old fashioned way-presentation with lots of numbers and graphs that are not remembered.

‘’Our goal is to show the public and uncover the hidden heroes of B&H, businesspeople who, despite the economic and political complexities of our country, managed to achieve outstanding business results. Through this event, the speakers will have the chance to contribute to the wider business community and share tips on how to succeed’’, added Hašimbegović.

The guest of the first Business Café is Fadil Novalić, former Director of TMDai Gradačac, a company that achieved a net profit of tens of millions of BAM.

‘’Mr. Novalić is now in new projects, and there are several hundred employees under his jurisdiction. He is a business entrepreneur, under whose administration the company achieved a net profit in the first year. I believe that participants will be delighted with the uniqueness of this successful man’’, said Hašimbegović.

In addition to Novalić, GMS will host the representative of the Association EDUS, which runs educational programs for children with disabilities in intellectual development. At this event, funds for this Association will be collected.

‘’Business, as well as the state, have to be aware of social responsibility to its citizens, and especially children with disabilities’’, added Hašimbegović.

The first Business Café will be closed and the participants will be exclusively people who receive an invitation.

‘’The reaction of the public surprised us, because many called to ask us how they could participate in the event, so now we are thinking that the next event should be of an open type so that we could give everyone else the chance for business networking and learning’’, said Hašimbegović.

The first Business Café will be held in the Atrium Hall of Hotel Europe at 10:30. GMS said that they are sure that every meeting will result in a new cooperation of the participants.
