GradiškaIn the cultural centre in Gradiška, first International Fair of Collectibles and Antiquities ‘Denarius 2013 has opened today.

Apart from old coins, post stamps, old register cards, weapons, uniforms; emblems, paintings and old books were exhibited as well.

President of the club ‘Denarius’ Igor Ilijev said that this is the first such exhibition in the region and that it’s being held thanks to the help of Post office of RS.

‘People know that we have a priceless historical treasure used by our ancestors. A lot of effort was invested to collect, preserve, classify and exhibit the works’ said Ilijev.

He noted that similar exhibitions will be organised in other countries and in that way they’ll be the real ambassadors of RS.

At the first international fair of collectibles and antiquities, thirty collectors presented themselves and valuable collectibles saw several hundreds of citizens of Gradiška.
