Velic guestsImam Muhamed ef. Velic from Sarajevo delighted the public three days ago with an invitation for all those who do not have their own home and who survive on the streets as a homeless to get warm in the mosque at Stara Breka in Sarajevo.

In the days when BiH is hit by unprecedented cold, Velic opened the door of his mosque to all those in need regardless of their religion, origin or nationality.

Yesterday in this mosque came first guests without a warm home that he photographed and published on his Facebook profile together with status:

“People in need started responding to our invitation. Some of them are coming even from Visoko, and tonight we have wonderful people from Bistrik as guests in our mosque. I am delighted that we can provide refuge and shelter from the cold. On their faces are a concern, urgency, and pain, but there appear a slight smile and hope.

I think that our mosque is shining beautifully tonight!

We are here, good people in trouble, you are not alone! Together we will go through all the difficulties. A God is a sufficient helper for all of us,” said Velic on his Facebook profile.
