The First Snow Boom regional festival, dedicated to all lovers of winter sports and electronic music, will be held on Jahorina near Sarajevo from 13-16 March 2013.
Since every year our winter arrives later, mid-March will be an ideal time when young people from the entire region could enjoy winter and excellent music at the Olympic beauty, where we will mark 30 years since the Olympic games in Sarajevo.
The festival’s theme is divided into two sections-boom games and boom music.
Within boom games, burn cross ride, snowboard and ski competitions will be organized, where recreational and professional boarders and skiers could participate, as well as compete in snow battle, or Yukigassen, a game in the snow that originated in Japan and is similar to a snowball fight.
Boom Music brings us the performances of the best DJ’s from the region at several festival sites in the daytime and evening hours on Jahorina. The festival is open for competition for young DJ’s and producers from the region under the name Boomtest, as well as Boomvideo, a video contest for snowboarders and skiers, where they will have the chance to win a free trip to the Snow Boom for two people.
