B&H representative in the jersey of the Brooklyn Nets market his first start last night after he arrived from Spain to the NBA. In Mirza’s victory against the Philadelphia 76ers (130:94), he had 11 points and 5 rebounds.
Teletović arrived in the NBA in July last year, and until last night has not started in the 69 games, the number of games he played for this Brooklyn team.
However, coach Jason Kidd decided to put the captain of the B&H basketball team this team in the first line-up, and this paid off for him. Mirza showed good defense and attack, and spent a little more than 26 minutes on the court.
In the next game, the Washington Wizards await the Nets in the evening, from Wednesday to Thursday.
