Minister of Communications and Transport of BiH, Ismir Jusko, organized a meeting with the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Sarajevo, Chen Bo.

Some of the topics discussed on the meeting were the improvement of air traffic between the two countries with the possibility of establishing Sarajevo-Belgrade-Beijing flights and the nomination of BiH as the host of the Ministerial Conference 16 + 1, which was initiated by Minister Jusko at the last meeting.

Minister Jusko agreed with Ambassador Bo to work together on all the procedures regarding the process of signing the Agreement on improvement of air traffic between BiH and China in the upcoming period. Both of them agreed that all the activities in relation to this agreement should be conducted as soon as possible and the agreement should be signed.

China will continue to provide its support to our country to be the host of one of the formats of the Ministerial Meeting 16 + 1, according to Minister Bo.

Ambassador Bo also emphasized tourism potential of BiH and noted that the number of tourists from China was increased by 130 or 140 %. This number will be further increased after the Agreement on Visa Free Regime for citizens of China comes into force.
