The Federal Administration of Civil Protection announced today that in the municipality of Bužim, due to the overflow of rivers and streams, as well as the action of underground and torrential water, about 100 residential and 10 business buildings in the settlements of Bužim Centar, Čava, Zaradostovo, Baštra, Vrhovska and Varoška Rijeka were flooded.

Due to water spilling onto the road, the Čava – Baštra road is closed. Civil protection teams and firefighters are on the ground, and a session of the Bužim Municipal Civil Protection Headquarters is underway.

In the municipality of Velika Kladuša, several residential buildings in the settlements of Velika Kladuša (local community), Podzvizd, Todorovska Slapnica, Todorovo, Slapnica and Zborište were flooded due to the overflow of rivers and streams and the action of underground and torrential waters, which suffered the worst consequences of the storm.

Landslides also occurred, as well as damage to local roads.
