A group of young aviation enthusiasts, led by 17 year old Muharem Tvrtković, in May of this year launched the virtual airline company BIH Airlines, and allows anyone interested in becoming a pilot to become one in the virtual world.
“Everything that you need to have is a computer that can support Microsoft Flight Stimulator 2004 or X”, explained Muharem to klix.ba.
The online flight stimulator, for which the BIH version is accredited, is part of the network VATSIM, and triggered by PHPVMS, CMS for virtual airlines companies.
As part of VATSIM, several hundred virtual pilots fly every day, and a number of air traffic controllers. In the virtual BIH Airlines until now there are around 30 pilots, the daily average is 5-6 operations, and on weekends it is 12-13 flights. Pilots are mostly from our country, as well as from Turkey, Serbia, Croatia, Bulgaria and other countries.
