Tuzla International Airport and Flydubai are negotiating a deal to connect Tuzla Canton with destinations in the Middle East via a direct flight to Dubai.

The director of Tuzla International Airport Rifat Karasalihovic and Flydubai Airline executive director Ghaith Al Ghaith discussed the opening of a line that would link Tuzla to destinations in the Middle East last week, as well as the eventual opening of a joint company, which would also mean a stronger investment in the Tuzla Canton.

Among other things, they discussed the prospects and potentials of the Tuzla Airport, especially in terms of cargo transportation and food exports to the UAE.

At the end of last year, International Airport of Tuzla announced that they expect an increase in the number of flights and passengers carried.
