The President of the Republic of Croatia, Zoran Milanović, invited Israel’s ambassador to Croatia, Garij Koren, for an interview due to Koren’s statements in which he called on Zagreb to end diplomatic relations with Iran.

The ambassador of Israel stated that Croatia should carry out security checks on the staff of the Iranian diplomatic mission in the country, claiming that among them there could be “spies” of the Revolutionary Guard, which the European Union considers a terrorist organization. The Israeli side also announced that interference in political processes within Croatia will not be tolerated.

BHRT asked the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković whether BiH has a strategy or a plan if a similar request is made to our country.

“None of us can ask for anything. We make our own decisions. Therefore, we are not interested in anything, we are not interested in Israel’s position towards other countries. Bosnia and Herzegovina has its own foreign policy towards other countries, in accordance with our established bilateral relations, with our agreements or misunderstandings. No one can ask us to act contrary to what we think and do,” said Konaković.
