Civil Protection of RS this morning announced that the town is still under the water and the depth of the water in some places is up to one meter. Despite this, the town is no longer in immediate danger of flooding.

Many people in that municipality are still in the area that are affected by floods.

Cleaning and disinfection of facilities, as well as removing of dead livestock, monitored by veterinary services is being done in parts of the city where the water has withdrawn. Pumping of water is taking place in the parts of the city that are still under the water.

The rehabilitation of the town is on going. Two high capacity pumps, one from Germany and one from Poland are engaged in pumping water.

Members of the Civil Protection and Red Cross, local citizens, volunteers, teams for disinfection and veterinary teams are proving help to this city.
