The Professional Football Disciplinary Committee (PFDK) of the Turkish Football Federation (TFF) has decided that Fenerbahce will be considered defeated 3-0, and will be fined four million Turkish Liras (116,000 euros) for leaving the field in the final match of the Turkish Super Cup.

The TFF statement states that PFDK’s decisions have been made regarding the Super Cup final match, which was played against Galatasaray in Sanlıurfa on April 7, but was interrupted due to Fenerbahce’s withdrawal from the field in the second minute.

It was decided that Fenerbahce was considered defeated 3-0 due to the interruption of the match that had started. It was also announced that the “yellow canaries” will be fined four million lira, with compensation to be determined by the TFF.

It was noted that Fenerbahce club board member Ahmet Ketenci was suspended for 60 days and fined 520,000 lira for unsportsmanlike behavior by withdrawing the team from the competition.

Galatasaray was fined 212,000 lira due to incidents on the field and ugly and bad behavior of the fans, AA writes.
